Description:
The Leader-Courier and the Dakota Dunes North Sioux City Times, weekly newspapers in Union County, SD, has an immediate opening for a full-time staff reporter. The ideal candidate will have a degree in journalism or a related field and the ability to write and report accurately on a deadline. The candidate will write weekly feature stories, high school sports recaps and city/county and school meetings
Adobe software knowledge is a plus. Flexible hours even some work from home days! Mainly Monday -Friday day hours with occasional night or weekend assignments.
The newspapers have a strong local focus, so the new reporter must learn about the communities we cover.
