Description:

TV Production Assistant needed for an immediate start in the New York bureau of a major Middle Eastern News Channel.  Please note the following before applying:
1- Understanding and loving hard international news is a must. This is our business, so understanding and following hard International news has to be a second nature to you, not just a passing interest.
2- Fast English language transcribion speed is essential. We follow many International political conferences and this will constitue 20-30% of your work load.

3- Good TV production skills are desirable but training will be given to the right candidate.

4- Due to the nature of news coverage, the candidate must be ready to work flexible hours and under deadline pressure.
5- Commanding Arabic is an advantage, but we can overlook this for the right candidate, who understands and follows international news.

There is a good starting salary in a good working enviroment that is very friendly but takes the news business very seriously.
