Description:

We are a progressive daily newspaper in Northwest Georgia seeking a Page Designer/Copy Editor. This is an entry level position. We are looking for someone with an eye for layout and design and dependable copy editing skills. Accuracy is a must. Paginators use Microsoft Word, InDesign and PhotoShop, and familiarity with InDesign is required. This night-shift position includes laying out both news and sports pages.

The Rome News-Tribune is a privately owned paper. We have vibrant print and Web editions. We’re committed to keeping our community informed about what’s going on throughout the day — and we usually have fun doing it. Rome is a scenic city an hour from both Atlanta and Chattanooga.

Those interested should email resume and design samples to News Editor Heather Koon at HKoon@rn-t.com. No phone calls please. In-person interview required.
