Description:

Reporter wanted F/T for award-winning chain of 9 Queens weekly newspapers and website. The winning candidate will be an aggressive, organized news gatherer who enjoys talking to people, keeps up with the news and is able to come up with story ideas. Duties include covering community board and civic meetings, press conferences and other events, along with writing stories about the arts, healthcare, senior citizen issues and more. Must be able to write at least 7-9 stories a week on tight deadlines. Car necessary. Knowledge of Queens a plus. Knowledge of local public affairs a plus. NYC resident or surrounding area a must!
