Description:

Cover the news on the edge of the booming Bakken. There is never a dull moment in this fast-growing area!

The Glendive Ranger-Review is seeking a full-time community journalist. Cover everything from the oil industry and schools to human interest profiles and community events. There also may be some sports coverage available.

The ideal candidate will be willing to cover a variety of beats and help with other newsroom functions when necessary. A strong work ethic and knowledge of AP style is necessary. Experience in Indesign is not required, but is helpful.

The Glendive Ranger-Review is a strong twice-weekly paper located in Glendive, Mont. The newspaper has a strong history of integrating journalists from all over the country and helping them successfully advance their careers.

Glendive sits next to Montana's largest state park and offers access to all that makes life in the West worthwhile. Benefits and 401K are available.
