Over the past 20 years, private equity has grown from a little- known alternative investment to an established asset class in its own right. The ideal candidate for this position will have mastered all the basic tools of the business journalist's trade--source development, interviewing, reporting from public documents, number-crunching in Excel and writing at a rapid clip. We also need someone to develop a beat that will take them to the forefront of modern journalism. Yes, we need you to write news and feature stories for our still- vibrant print magazine and online intelligence service. But we'll also need you to blog on our community Web site at peHub.com, build a following on Twitter, interview executives on-stage at industry events, and keep pace with our rapidly evolving media platform.
