Description:
City News Service, the nation's largest regional wire service, has an immediate opening for an experienced reporter who will cover Los Angeles City Hall. The person we're seeking knows news, knows Los Angeles, knows how to turn out a strong story quickly and cultivate sources. Accuracy is of utmost importance. Most Southern California media outlets are subscribers to CNS -- TV, radio, newspapers and more. Your work will be carried by numerous media outlets and therefore will have a major impact on the public. You may often work on multiple stories at a time, and deadlines are immediate. It's a significant challenge, but possibly one of the most gratifying jobs you'll ever have. You must be a college graduate with professional reporting experience who lives in the Los Angeles area. If you're interested, immediately e-mail your resume and cover letter to Lori Streifler, editor, at Lori@SoCalNews.com. CNS is an equal opportunity employer. Due to the number of applications, we may not be able to respond to each submission. (www.SoCalNews.com)
