DecisionHealth, a division of UCG, seeks a Product Manager with responsibility to maintain and grow a multi-million dollar established base of news and guidance subcription products serving the healthcare professional marketplace.

The successful Product Manager will bring with him or her a unique blend of business-to-business content savvy and a track record of innovative, proactive, and calculated risk taking that has paid off in product sales, customer satisfaction and/or industry-acknowledged content/product excellence. Knowledge of Medicare payment systems, revenue cycle ares of coding, billing and compliance, HIPAA, ACA and the insurance claims market is preferred.

You will be responsible for sustaining and building print and online products that deliver news, instruction and analytical guidance to the 200,000+ Medical Practice marketplace, as well as creating derivative distribution formats that give relevance and utility to editorial content within daily workflow tools used by Medical Practices. You will work collaboratively with internal content, marketing, sales, and production teams.

As Product Manager you will:
  • Peform publication audits and lead quarterly business peformance reviews, adjusting strategy and tactical execution plans as needed
  • Have full P&L responsibility for your suite of solutions
  • Specify product requirements and/or enhancements based on market and competitive research
  • Communicate regularly with customers and prospects to define and identify information needs
  • Stay on top of and analyze market trends, segments, size and buyer behavior
  • Work with content editors, marketing and sales teams to define the editorial direction and the go-to-market strategy that best demonstrates and/or articulates a product’s value proposition. You will review and have final sign-off on all marketing (DM, email, catalog, website, etc.)
  • Create compelling new solutions and product offerings that successfully meet the needs of our customers
  • Consistently achieve individual and organizational new product objectives
  • Be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with the end product
Job Requirements:
  • 5 to 7 years product management experience, with 3 to 5 years in the healthcare field preferred
  • Demonstrated project planning and management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to discern customer needs and envision multiple solutions
  • Strong desire and motivation to achieve results
  • Great interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • A track record of timely delivery and meeting or exceeding goals
  • BA/BS degree; MBA desirable
