The Content Manager participates in all aspects of managing the organization’s integrated multi-platform content strategy and deliverables: consistently maintains the voice and brand; manages the editorial calendar; writing, editing and proofing as needed for all channels; ensures consistent, top quality production across all channels; ensures effectiveness of communications through application of measurement and analysis data; coordinates with consultant and internal stakeholders regarding content; coordinates with consultant on production of print publication including advertising elements; assists in overall budget management; travels to meetings one or two times a year.


Four year degree in journalism, communications or related field is required. Five to seven years writing/editing news on deadline for long-form print, web and social media is a must. The Content Manager must have experience in working with multi-platform content. The Content Manager must have a clear and demonstrated understanding of print and digital production and be proficient in AP style and all platforms and software needed to fulfill responsibilities. Excellent grammatical, proofreading and editing skills is required.  The Content Manager must possess strong managerial and organizational skills including management of consultants and freelancers from various disciplines. Experience with Indesign, and image production, including photo and video editing, is a plus.
