Description:

Access Intelligence, a leading worldwide information and marketing company, has an immediate opening in its Norwalk, CT office for an Editor on Chief Marketer, the indispensable resource on measurable marketing strategies, tactics and benchmarks for over 130,000 marketing professionals at leading brands and agencies.www.chiefmarketer.com


Responsibilities include:

  • Write and edit a variety of content primarily for digital distribution, as well as conducts video interviews.
  • Meet a daily deadline to produce enewsletter & special report editions that come out Monday through Friday.
  • Contribute to the daily flow of social media outlets by placing news items, videos and/or photos via Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, etc.
  • Write and produce special editions when needed to cover an industry conference or annual event.
  • Work with other team members to produce specialty event, awards shows and/or webinars.
  • Participate in weekly and/or monthly editorial meetings and brainstorming sessions to improve and grow the Chief Marketer brand;
  • Maintain good relations with industry professionals in the marketing, agency, technology & service provider communities—from CEO to CMO, to VPs, Directors & Managers at Fortune 1000, to small entrepreneurial tech start-ups, to Google and Adobe.


 

Requirements:

  • 3 years’ experience working as a reporter/ writer on current marketing channels- primarily digital- and the technology that supports it.
  • Experience programming conferences or webinars, moderating a panel.
  • Four-year degree.
  • Proficiency in working independently on writing and manuscript editing.
  • Proficiency in copyediting.
  • Proficiency in writing about technology for non techies.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a deadline oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels & techniques a plus.
  • Digital media skills a plus (proficiency with web writing, blogging, social media; comfortable working in a CMS).
