The University of Kansas is seeking an Associate Director for Digital Media to join the in-house team in the Marketing Communications office. The Associate Director for Digital Media will play a vital role in the continued development of the KU brand story. She or he will also be responsible for the development and implementation of innovative video and photography concepts that will drive engagement and action with the university. As the manager of the digital media team, the ideal candidate will ensure that the work the digital media team produces follows industry best practices and is innovative, consistent, and effective for a range channels. These channels include KU’s print, social, and web properties. The Associate Director for Digital Media will ensure that all creative content meets the highest standards and fulfills the strategic goals of the Office of Public Affairs and the University of Kansas.

Bachelor's degree & 6 years of experience with some combination of: video editing, video production, video direction, photography, or similar role in an agency setting or an in-house design unit. Higher education experience preferred.
