Description:

ExchangeMonitor Publications is seeking driven reporters to cover energy and environmental issues with a focus on one of the hottest topics around—addressing climate change. We’re looking for individuals who live for finding out what’s going on in a particular topic, and for breaking news in their area. We want reporters who can take their beat and run with it, can manage their time to meet daily and weekly deadlines, and are just as comfortable wading through lengthy government reports and court cases as they are developing and leveraging sources throughout the government, industry and other areas. Expertise in energy- and climate-related issues is welcome, but not necessary—more important is a willingness to learn and a desire to delve into the beat. Both mid-career professionals and reporters with 1-3 years experience are encouraged to apply (recent college graduates with college newspaper experience and strong newswriting skills will also be considered).

Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume and 3-5 clips to reporters@exchangemonitor.com.
