Description:

This is a demanding and rewarding full-time, paid internship at AARP The Magazine, the largest-circulation magazine in the world. 

The intern should have knowledge of the editorial process and will write short items, organize reader responses, research ideas, write summary reports, and aid editors with other tasks as needed. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and organizational skills, poise, and a strong work ethic. Seniors or graduate students in journalism, English, communications, or multimedia preferred.

 ***THIS INTERNSHIP IS FOR THE SPRING 2014 SEMESTER*** Minimum commitment is five full days per week for the whole semester. The intern must be enrolled in an accredited college or university during the internship, but not necessarily carrying a full course load. The intern must have a 3.0 GPA (minimum) and must provide a recommendation letter from a professor.
