Description:

CNBC Digital is seeking a reporter with a strong background in financial markets for a role writing CNBC.com’s daily markets story. The markets writer is at the literal and figurative center of the newsroom, following the action on U.S. equity markets from pre-market action to after-hours trading. The successful candidate will also be familiar with commodity and currency markets, and have the ability to weave all of them into one cohesive story, updated at least a half-dozen times a day. The candidate will also have some grounding with web production, and a proven ability to learn and adapt to new content management systems. This is a full-time staff position at CNBC’s world headquarters in Englewood Cliffs. The job has a set schedule but will occasionally require early mornings, late nights and weekend shifts as needed.
