Description:

The Facts, an award-winning daily newspaper on the Gulf Coast of Texas, has an immediate opening for a photojournalist to direct our visual coverage. We expect the person to be able to balance quality and quantity in assignments. News and feature coverage, high school sports and spot news are all regular parts of the job. Knowledge of Photoshop and ability to meet the demands of daily print deadlines are musts; experience with video is preferred. Regular Saturday work is required. We are fully digital and Nikon equipment is furnished.

ABOUT US: Surfside Beach is at our coverage area's back door, and Houston is near its front door. We are a small enough area for a reporter to get a good start covering a little bit of everything, but close enough to Houston for our employees to enjoy everything a big city has to offer. We offer competitive pay and benefits, plus a fun work environment.
