Description:

Health Care Reporter: Providence Business News, Southern New England's leading business publication, seeks a self-starting reporter to dive into the health care sector and come up with topical, clear and incisive stories as the state barrels ahead with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and beyond. Requirements include the ability to master complicated source material, from insurance rate filings to bankruptcy declarations to medical advances in brain science, all while giving the region's business community the smartest take on this vital part of the region's economy. In addition, this position will function as a reporter/editor/social media practioner as called upon by the needs of the moment. Previous experience covering health care is a plus but not a requirement.
