Investigative Reporter
Job Status:  Full-time
Ad Expires:

Job ID: 1511574

Investigative Reporter is accepting resumes for a full-time investigative reporter who is proficient with multimedia journalism for our online news service. The investigative reporter is expected to doggedly pursue stories about Congress, the Executive Branch, and the Courts, and produce well-written, hard-hitting news reports on deadline, as well as cover daily news as events may dictate.

These stories will be of importance to a conservative audience (socially and fiscally conservative), and cover issues the mainstream media often ignore – stories that are provocative,  often politically incorrect, and that drive the news.

Candidate must be very familiar with political issues and basic economics, able to generate story ideas, and comfortable (and excited!) about working with government documents and reports.  Many federal-level news stories are sitting in plain sight waiting to be told; the investigative reporter must know how to recognize them and report them.

At least 2 years professional investigative journalism experience preferred. If you want to join one of the most exciting and effective online news teams covering Capitol Hill and the White House, send your resume and a cover letter to:
