We’re all about finding the best way to present news to our readers in all ways. Alternative story forms and finding new and better ways to create, edit and design news and information is what we do every day.

If you’re interested in being part of a collaborative team, growing your skills and getting the opportunity and space to do great work, this is the place you want to be.

We’re looking for a sports designer who is excited about joining us. You’re the perfect candidate if you’re always thinking about the reader experience and feel comfortable developing ideas for how to present information in new ways. We’re looking for a candidate with a mix of skills, so InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator abilities are a plus, as is copy-editing and the ability to create graphics.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with direction and constructive feedback
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Photoshop), Quark and MSOffice
  • Working knowledge of online social networks, blogs, wikis, and emerging communications technologies (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Must provide a portfolio with graphic design samples of your work
