Digital Content Specialist 15268BR Washington, DC WLZL-FM Spanish Digital If you are seeking a pioneer position that puts a premium on creativity and strong writing and editing skills … CBS Washington is the place for you.

We are looking for a multi-media and bilingual journalist to join our growing digital team as we strive to set the standard for music and community news in the Washington region. With an emphasis on El Zol Radio 107.9, ideal candidate will be asked to help develop and execute strategies to better serve our growing online Hispanic and Latino community. Candidate will also be heavily involved in our other CBS music stations, including 94.7 Fresh FM and WPGC 95.5. Create, translate, publish and distribute content across all digital platforms, including social media; Work with Programming, Promotions and Sales to turn on-air campaigns into dynamic Web destinations; Monitor shows and interviews, and efficiently turn on-air content into online packages, using audio, video and other multi-media;

Help develop and execute game-plans for covering major station events to maximize Web traffic and engagement; Collaborate with Program Directors, talent and producers on an hourly basis;

Use Web analytics and trending tools to evaluate homepage layout, story selection, headlines and blurbs; Push content from local properties and other CBS affiliates to grow and engage Twitter followers and Facebook ‘likes;’

Bring innovation and ways to leverage technology to improve and enhance story-telling techniques and methods.

A college degree is preferred

Previous radio experience is preferred
