Description:

The Sidney Herald in Sidney, MT is looking for a full-time reporter to cover local news. We are looking for dependable, hard-working individual who can meet deadlines, generate story ideas and general assignment articles. Being handy with a camera is a plus as is layout skills using InDesign. Excellent writing and interviewing skills are a must. This would be a great opportunity for either an experienced reporter or a new college graduate who is eager to learn on the run.

Our region is going through an historic shift in growth, demographics and overall way of life. Human interest and controversial news stories abound. It's never a dull day in our newsroom. 

The job does require working some nights, and includes competitive pay, benefits, paid vacations and short-term housing is available, if needed.
