The Steamboat Pilot & Today — a small daily newspaper in the ski resort town of Steamboat Springs, CO — is seeking an experienced journalist to lead its talented 14-person newsroom. The right candidate will have a passion for community journalism and be prepared to lead a news operation that pushes content 24 hours per day, seven days per week across every platform available. Great editing skills and news judgment are required. So too is creativity, a willingness to experiment and the confidence that you can make one of the best small dailies anywhere even better. Most importantly, the right editor will be someone who wants to work closely with all departments to create a successful business model that can sustain the newspaper well into the future.
