Description:

Industry Dive is seeking a full-time, entry-level editor who can write for business audiences with energy and intelligence. If you want to work at a B2B media company with personality and a forward-thinking approach to mobile reading and web publishing, we want to hear from you.

We need an editor with crystal-clear writing skills and solid editorial instincts who can learn and adapt for business audiences as diverse as food and beverage industry executives and university CIO's. If you have the talent, as well as a passion for finding out what makes industries tick, this is the perfect role for you to step into and write for diverse array of audiences.

We provide executives with original and curated news, as well as feature content  and analysis across a family of sites, including EducationDive.com, UtilityDive.com and FoodDive.com.

Minimum Requirements:

  • proven writing skills, as well as an aptitude for business news and story selection
  • tuned-in instincts for writing headlines that connect with reader interests
  • the ability to envision and produce content in the best possible way for mobile devices
  • deadline-oriented time-management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • some hands-on familiarity with HTML
  • working knowledge of basic SEO
  • experience with Google Analytics or other monitoring software
  • experience working with a publication in its early stages to grow audiences
  • managing social media accounts with clear goals for engagement

 

Compensation is expected to be between $35-38k based on qualifications.  Industry Dive also offers health benefits, paid vacation, and more.
