The Baldwin School is seeking a seasoned communications professional to serve as the Communications Manager for one of the region's oldest and most prestigious independent schools for girls from pre-K through 12th grade. The Communications Manager is the leading voice of the school and is responsible for all publications, public relations and e-mail marketing. Responsibilities include serving as editor for Echoes magazine (published three times a year). The position shares responsibility for social media with the Website Coordinator. The position reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
The candidate must have a minimum of three to five years of related experience and a B.A. or equivalent degrees. The candidate must be a good communicator with exceptional writing, verbal and organizational skills. Journalism, education or agency experience is a plus.
