Writers/editors/reporters with a creative flair and an interest in expanding their news, feature and social media portfolios should apply for this Assistant Editor position. Your writing and editing talent, online and offline research skills, interview techniques and ability to “dig for the details” will shine in front of an information-hungry audience. Knowledge of AP style, an “eagle’s eye” for copyediting and the ability to juggle multiple writing assignments at once is a must for this position.

This is an ideal position for recent journalism graduates (with clips to show from internships, the school paper, social media, etc.) journalism graduates in their first job who feel that j-school degree isn’t being put to use.
