Here’s an opportunity to be on the front lines of community journalism, using digital and traditional tools to tell the stories that touch the lives of our readers. You’ll cover a wide array of issues, from dealing with law enforcement and emergency responders to educators, students and parents.

The Fremont Tribune, a Lee Enterprises media company, is seeking a general assignment reporter who can dig into stories to provide accurate, fair coverage for our digital and print publications. A successful candidate must be able to juggle multiple assignments, work under daily deadlines and desire to contribute to a team dedicated to community journalism. You’ll need a bachelor’s degree, an inquisitive mind and solid writing skills. Photo, video and social media skills would be a plus.
