Jennifer Connelly Public Relations is currently seeking a Writer to join its Business Development Team.

The Writer will work within JCPR’s Business Development team to ensure continuity of work flow for our proposal process and submit proposals in a timely fashion by providing the following services:

  • Analyze proposal requests to ensure alignment with JCPR’s overall growth and business goals.
  • Assist in information gathering during the proposal process by participating in phone calls, in-person meetings, etc.
  • Coordinate all contributors to the final proposal product, including marketing writers, graphic designers, PR professionals, digital strategists, media analysts and executive team.
  • Write and edit all responses, including proposals, cover letters and other correspondence.
  • Edit all complete proposals and templates to eliminate inconsistencies in format, fix typos and correct grammatical mistakes, as well as ensuring information is complete and on-target.
  • Research, write and update information related to the business development process, including project descriptions, biographies, capabilities, case studies and other qualifying materials.
  • Assist in the development of presentations, including organizing information, recommending formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and coordinating meeting materials.
  • Assist with other corporate writing and communications as needed.

Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business, public relations or similar fields
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the proposal/RFP process
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Experience working closely and collaboratively with C-suite executives
