Description:

The Siskiyou Daily News has an opening for a full time reporter.  The SDN is located in Yreka, CA, a quaint little community just south of the Oregon border. If you are looking for a start in the journalism field, this is a great place. You would cover a whole host of stories, from government to crime to human interest. Our reporters do it all.

We are looking for an upbeat hungry writer. While a college degree in journalism is preferred, there are two qualities we will be looking for the most out of our successful candidate, a great writer and someone with an insatiable thirst for the news.

Compensation is competitive. Benefits package includes medical, vacation, and 401k.
