We’re a fast growing Washington, D.C.-based online publisher in need of a journalism summer intern for our government vertical, which produces four publications: FierceGovernment, FierceGovernmentIT, FierceHomelandSecurity and FierceMobileGovernment.

The intern will contribute articles to the publications and do most of the interviewing leg work for two important projects slated for publication later in the fall. Intern must be interested in the executive branch side of government and must be enrolled in an undergraduate program that will extend college credit for the internship, which is otherwise non-paying (apart from a decent welcome lunch).

Minimum 35 hours a week for a 9-12 week engagement starting in June (start and end dates negotiable). Must be able to provide own housing in the metro D.C. area; we are located downtown near to Red, Orange, and Blue Metro lines.

FierceMarkets, a leader in B2B e-media, helps business marketers reach targeted decision-makers through our portfolio of email newsletters, websites, webinars, and live events focusing on the telecom, life sciences, healthcare, IT, and finance industries.
