Description:

The Cameron Herald and Thorndale Champion, award-winning twin weekly newspapers in Central Texas, is seeking a dynamic professional to take the helm as editor and publisher. The successful applicant will directly be responsible for the  editorial product – from planning to production, and assume a bevy of other responsibilities, including managing ad sales, bookkeeping, distribution, analyzing monthly financials and planning for the future. The person we hire will also be  responsible for managing the ad sales staff,  planning special sections, monitoring sales efforts and developing ideas to turn non-advertisers into regular ones. This position requires a candidate that will be an active member and integral part of this community. Enthusiasm, great attitude, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork and people skills a must!
