Seeking Digital Writer/Producer for Fast Growing Christian Living Network

Are you a faithful Christian with digital content expertise? Join our fast growing Christian living website’s team and work with purpose: helping Christians nationwide grow deeper in their walks with God!

Crossmap.com reaches Christians with the latest online resources about Christian life including news, devotionals, images, blogs, videos, and games. We target the 50 million evangelicals and 200 million U.S. Christians in the country and provide them the fastest access to resources on church and U.S. news, faith life, everyday inspiration, living, family, health, entertainment, money and more through our newly upgraded digital portal.

The Crossmap team has an open position for a digital editor/producer who loves Jesus and has a faithful vision to reach Christians everywhere online. This editor needs to have experience working with a Christian audience and demonstrate knowledge of current trends within Christianity and major demographic segments within the Christian movement. Other necessary experience for the job includes editorial/production know-how for updating web contents to digital platforms such as websites, blogs and/or social networks. Our writer will be responsible for content creation and article writing in our Christian Living, Devotional and Family channels.  The editor will also be required to recognize and distribute the most relevant content available to our audience via the Crossmap homepage, section pages, and feeds such as RSS. The homepage will be updated several times throughout each day to match the current 24/7 digital media cycle in the market.

Crossmap is a media partner with The Christian Post, the Christian news website which is currently the most visited premium Religion/Spirituality web property in the world. The Christian Post currently reaches over 30 million viewers per month online.

Responsibilities:
--Work with content creators and content partners to write, aggregate and generate relevant resources for our target audience
--Recognize the most helpful issues, trends, images and stories from the content team to highlight for our readers
--Upload and distribute resources through the various channels on the homepage and throughout our site according to the timeliness, quality, and real-time viewer analytics to grow CM’s target audience up to and beyond monthly goals for readership

Qualifications:
--Agree with our Statement of Faith (http://www.crossmap.com/about/faith.htm)
--Possess passion to reach Christians online
--At least 1-3 years of experience as a digital writer/producer with knowledge of both Christian publishing and mainstream online publishing industries

--This is a Manhattan, NY based position (no telecommuting available at this time)
