Description:

InsiderScore LLC, the world's leading insider trading and corporate stock repurchase research, data and analytics firm, is seeking a unique individual to fill the role of a Research Assistant and become an important member of our team. This position is a stepping stone to becoming a Research Analyst at our firm.

Initial duties will include

  • Copy editing daily research briefs and special reports
  • Maintaining internal research Wikis on various topics
  • Assisting the Director of Research and Research Analysts on various projects
  • A lot of reading. Seriously, the day you start you'll be handed a small stack of books that you will need to read and report back on.


Candidates should possess:

  • A passion for investing and the stock market
  • A strong interest in SEC regulations and corporate governance
  • Very strong writing and basic math skills
  • An ability to work with unique and complicated data and language sets
  • An obsession with finding facts
  • An analytical mind
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Confidence in their abilities and a strong work ethic


What you need to know:

  • The Research Assistant will not be answering phones, getting coffee, running errands, etc. This position requires someone who is comfortable with having real responsibility.
  • There is a three-month probationary period, after which you will become a salaried employee and receive full benefits (health insurance, 401(k), etc.).
  • Our quaint Seattle office is located in downtown Fremont and works on an East Coast schedule (start time no later than 7:00 AM). It is home to our Director of Research and one of our Research Analysts.
