Our Producers/Editors will have experience at a Financial Media company and will hold either a Bachelor’s or higher degree, preferably in Journalism, Finance or Economics. These positions will initially be based in New Haven, CT but will be based in our new, state-of-the-art office in Stamford, CT, beginning summer 2013.

POSITION OVERVIEW

·         Edit institutional research for a mass market audience

·         Write and post items to Hedgeye.com web site

·         Manage Hedgeye Twitter feed and social media presence (including Facebook)

·         Manage day-to-day relationships with Fortune (and others syndication partners) to edit content for submission

·         Work with sector heads and research analysts to create daily graphics for television products

·         Book and research potential guests for television products

·         Write scripts for television products

·         Handle other television production tasks as required

 

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·         Experience at a financial media company, preferably online or video production

·         Experience on Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         Excellent editorial skills with a sound understanding of writing for the web and engaging online investing audience

·         Knowledge of digital trends

·         Knowledge or experience of basic television production

·         Knowledge of a range of applications and software including social media platforms, content management systems, HTML, image-editing software, MS Windows
