Description: Our industry-leading news magazine for long-term care professionals seeks an enthusiastic and responsible editorial intern. The ideal candidate will have strong news writing skills, precise editing abilities and familiarity with digital publishing options. The intern will be expected to write short news stories, longer feature pieces and oversee key portions of the website and social media channels. The ideal candidate will be able to research and analyze business-to-business news in the long-term care field. The intern will report to the senior editor. This is a paid internship ($10 per hour), with the expectation of the intern working four days a week, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The intern must be able to work in our Northbrook location. The intern must have completed at least one year of college or university, and be able to write clean, concise copy. He or she should be able to take direction, be interested in healthcare business reporting and be able to meet deadlines. We value friendliness, respect and a good sense of humor.
