Description:

Law360, a LexisNexis company, is currently seeking an experienced Tax Editor to help launch a daily newsletter for tax attorneys covering key issues in policy and litigation, especially on the federal level. The Assistant Managing Editor- Tax will head up a team of reporters based in New York.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·        Research and understand market
·        Define coverage
·        Develop news gathering routine
·        Hire and train reporters
·        Assign and edit stories
·        Manage newsletter
·        Manage editorial advisory board
·        Continually refine/improve coverage

Requirements:
·        2+ years experience managing a team of reporters
·        2+ years as an editor at a daily tax or legal publication
·        5+ years editing tax publications
·        8+ years editing or writing experience
