Description:

Typical Duties:
Oversee all newscasts; Write and edit news copy.
Responsible for graphic look of the newscasts.
Contribute to daily editorial meetings.
Plan and execute special events such as Elections & New Year’s Eve.
Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a News Producer required; Top 50 Market experience preferred
Previous experience as a News Manager Preferred
Must demonstrate the ability to exercise good news judgment and management of people
Ability to meet daily deadlines
Working Knowledge of iNews
Must deal with pressure situations, demonstrate good news judgment, leadership and maintain a
good attitude
This is not a 9 to 5 job. Must be willing to work extra hours/weekends
