Description:
Rust Publishing NWIA seeks an experienced Advertising Manager to oversee the marketing staff for three daily and weekly products in Northwest Iowa. Duties will also include oversight, in a general manager role, for a weekly newspaper.
We are seeking a leader who is also a focused team player, working as a member of the management team to achieve success. Integrity, a strong work ethic and vision are the key components of a successful candidate. The successful candidate will have the heart of a coach, working with the strengths of the sales team to help each member reach his or her greatest potential.
We want a candidate who understands the ever-changing media landscape, and harnesses the tools available to maximize revenue. Strong computer skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or seven to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in newspaper advertising is essential. Outstanding verbal, written and creative skills a must.
