We’re looking for experienced candidates who know how to get to the bottom of what’s happening at city hall and in county government and can explain it in a compelling, accurate way. Candidates also should be knowledgeable and interested in reporting on local and state politics.

We need someone who can juggle daily coverage with enterprise work.

You will be actively engaged with social media (Facebook, Twitter), publishing to various platforms throughout the day. We also use smartphones and iPads, and we strongly value multimedia experience with video and photography.

You must know how to develop sources, report on sensitive topics, provide excellent customer service, work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers and show a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
