The City of Coral Gables, Florida, The City Beautiful, a progressive, international, coastal and historic City is seeking a highly qualified professional who is inspired by interesting challenges of an established, but dynamic community for the position of Business Development Analyst. The City has a population of 48,000 residents, has a vibrant downtown and is home to the University of Miami. Coral Gables operates under a commission/manager form of government and is well known for its active and involved citizenry. The Business Development Analyst will implement City-wide strategic and operating initiatives to strengthen the economic base, attract and retain best businesses, and effectively market Coral Gables for success, including oversight of the City’s property agreements and cultural programming. The selected candidate will act as a communications expert and will support the City’s international initiatives, business community support and development, and assist with various other initiatives assigned. Qualifications: Candidates interested in applying must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field. Masters degree is preferred. The successful candidate may not hold an active real estate license once selected. A minimum of two (2) years prior experience with regard to corporate communication, journalism and/or marketing experience is necessary. Knowledge of business environments and/or economic development as well as being bilingual (English/Spanish) are desirable.

Salary and benefits package includes: The annual salary range is $49,254.40- $67,620.80. Medical, dental and life insurance, leave allowances, retirement plan and more.
