Description:
The /Daily News/ is a six-day-a-week, 5,000 circulation, family-owned morning newspaper covering Latah County, Idaho, and Whitman County, Wash., homes to the University of Idaho and Washington State University, as well as a lot of wheat farmers. We have an award-winning news staff of about 13. We write our own editorials, a weekly events magazine, and several quarterly special sections. We maintain dnews.com, inland360.com and a Facebook page for each. - Reporter: You will help to cover K-12 in the two counties and higher education issues at WSU and the UI. This is considered an entry-level position. Annual salary is $23,650 to start, with vacations, holidays, medical, profit-sharing and other benefits.
