The Rapid City Journal is seeking an experienced General Manager to manage and publish two community newspapers, a variety of niche publications, and websites for our Northern Hills publications.

Key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership to publication staff
- Grow revenue creatively and rapidly
- Interact with community and assess needs
- Manage and develop revenue streams including sales into all products
- Grow paid audience base
- Oversee budgeting and exercise careful cost controls
- Work with editor to provide local news and information to the community

The qualified candidate will have:
- Strong leadership and business management skills

- Proven experience in driving advertising revenue
- Exceptional community relations and networking skills
- Media experience
