WALB Television in Albany, GA is seeking a Digital Content Director.

This person will oversee all WALB news digital content including our social media outreach.

Responsibilities include managing and directing all digital content producers, as well as producing digital text and video content.

Candidate must thrive on breaking news and have a “do It now” mentality to excel in our fast-paced environment.

The DCD will be responsible for implementing and ensuring the success of Raycom digitial guidelines and initiatives.

Qualities required: Leadership ability, proven news judgment, excellent computer and internet skills, competency in web image editing, good web and mobile platform showcasing skills, excellent web writing skills and proficiency in AP style.

Candidate must recognize the need for urgency in digital breaking news and have a competitive spirit to ensure WALB is first!  

HTML, Photoshop and WorldNow Producer content management system experience helpful.

This management level employee reports to the News Director.
