Description: The Paducah Sun has an immediate opening for a breaking news reporter. The ideal candidate will have two or more years experience working in a newspaper newsroom, or college equivalent. Versatility is a must. The candidate must be comfortable working as both a reporter and a photographer in areas such as local government reporting and feature writing, as well as breaking news. Experience with social media, online reporting, and open records and public meetings laws is a plus. Weekend and night work is expected. The Sun is the morning seven-day headquarters newspaper of Paxton Media Group LLC, publisher of daily and weekly newspapers in the Southeast and Midwest.
