The Peninsula Clarion is seeking a general assignment news reporter to become part of its team. Applicants must have a grasp of AP style, the ability to write accurate and compelling stories and work quickly under deadlines. Reporters may find themselves covering everything from city government to sled dog racing. Experience with InDesign a plus. The Kenai Peninsula is an outdoor lover's paradise and a great place to contribute to a community paper and hone valuable skills as a journalist. The reporter position may include nights and weekends. The Peninsula Clarion is a Sunday through Friday a.m. paper with a circulation of 6,500.
