Description:
The Journal, a seven-day morning newspaper in Martinsburg, W.Va., has an immediate opening for an enterprising reporter to join its newsroom. The successful candidate will have strong writing skills, be flexible, highly organized and a good team player. Reporters are also responsible for taking photographs, shooting video and using social media. The position may require some night and weekend work. A college degree and some writing experience are required. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Martinsburg is located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, a short drive from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore.
