Description:

Delray Publishing, a rapidly growing financial publishing company located in Delray Beach, FL, and based around the work of newsletter writer and economist Harry Dent, is looking for an experienced financial editor/writer. We are looking for an editor with deep knowledge of financial and economic principles, as well as exceptional editing, rewriting and writing skills. The successful candidate must have the ability to:

 

  • Work with our economic gurus to produce compelling newsletter content by strengthening arguments, streamlining prose, proofreading, fact-checking and scrutinizing every detail of everything we publish…
  • Edit investment advisories with accuracy and speed…
  • Enforce deadlines, schedule meetings, arrange calls, and keep everybody on task...
  • Compose some sales copy, reach out to potential affiliates, and cross-promote to existing subscribers...
  • Compose economic reports based on the HS Dent school of economic thought...
  • Make our biggest ideas shine for months or even years...
  • Absorb everything there is to know about publishing and selling the best financial content in the world... and then work to make it better.

 

A four-year degree in English, journalism or marketing is preferred with four to five years of relevant publishing/editorial experience. Prior financial or economic knowledge is essential, as is a close eye for detail and a strong work ethic. This is a full time in-house position. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
