Needed: a Web-savvy individual who will bring enthusiasm and creativity to supporting the efforts of a one-person communications department in a small school in Potomac, MD. Connelly School of the Holy Child educates girls in grades 6-12; we are a private Catholic school, but welcome students from all faiths and walks of life.

We are in the process of launching a new website, as well as continuing to produce a weekly newsletter, press releases and story placements, and covering school events (both writing and photography). You would be expected to support a wide range of communications activities; other tasks may include photo organization and research, maintaining press lists, monitoring and updating current website and announcement board, and writing/research for annual publication. 

The right candidate will be:

and have a fine sense of humor!

The job is 20 hours a week, at $18/hr. We can be flexible with hours, but you need to be onsite at least three days a week. This is a temporary part-time job (at least eight months), with the possibility of permanent status.

The position is available immediately. We are located at 9029 Bradley Blvd., near the corner of River Road and Bradley. Free parking.
