If you have a passion for designing newspaper pages and a solid grasp of journalism principles, the Paxton Media pagination hub in Owensboro, Ky., has the perfect career opportunity for you. We have an immediate opening for a full-time news designer who is proficient using Adobe InDesign software. We're looking for candidates who understand the importance of meeting deadlines while placing an emphasis on accuracy, as well as having a good working knowledge of the Associated Press stylebook. We produce 13 daily papers, nine weekly papers and several special publications, which offer the opportunity to gain a wealth of experience, as well as the chance to create dynamic designs for a broad range of products. Candidates with a journalism degree or the equivalent experience are preferred.
