WOODTV.com is looking for its next Digital Executive Producer. This individual will drive the #1 web and mobile news source in West Michigan by delivering the most current and dynamic content 24/7. Do you have a passion for news, breaking big stories and providing people with depth and perspective? Do you spend your free time investigating the web’s newest craze? Do you live social media, not just like it? If your answer to these questions is yes, you may be our ideal candidate. We’re looking for a strong communicator to oversee daily digital news content and execute the 24 Hour News 8 brand on our digital platforms. This person will manage a small team directly and facilitate the contributions of other key members of the WOOD TV team under the direction of the News Director and Digital Director. Job applicants with journalism and digital experience preferred. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, PHP/SQL, SEO and digital analytics is a plus. Candidates should have compelling writing skills and the ability to turn out strong headlines.
