Description:

 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY position available with Yellowstone Newspaper Group.

 This is a full time position and will work primarily out of the Livingston, MT office.  

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Deploys and supports hardware including servers, PCs, printers, laptops, and scanners. Supports desktop software and wide applications. Provides day-to-day user support. Supports telephone system and hardware.  Supports videoconferencing and multi-media systems. Maintains inventory of hardware supplies and equipment. Assists in the evaluation of hardware and software products. Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure, as well as related policies and procedures. Provides back-up and assistance to other technical staff as required. Performs related duties and project work as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Four years desktop applications and hardware support in a professional services environment.
• Several years practical experience in networking, hardware, and telephones.
• Strong understanding of Windows and MS office applications. Strong understanding of Macintosh and   

   other graphic computer software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication, planning, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong customer support focus.
• Proven project management skills.
• Strong team player and clearly displayed ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the company’s internal and personal

   affairs.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of personnel, including  management,

   and support staff.
• Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities;

   ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on a companywide team across multi-office environment. Valid driver’s license and  

   ability to travel, some overnight travel will be required.

• Strong ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and

    maintaining quality standards.
