The St. Louis Post-Dispatch is looking for a data specialist to work with reporters and editors to acquire and analzye databases for use online and in print.  This reporter will be the primary person responsible for obtaining, cleaning and maintaining various databases online. We are looking for someone with a CAR background who is capable of producing his/her own stories, but also wants to collaborate with other reporters. It is paramount that the right candidate come not only with the proper skillset but also with a desire to learn and share knowledge. In addition, the data specialist will either produce interactive graphics by himself/herself or work with the graphics/multimedia department to produce such materials.
